From Ramzan aid to education, healthcare, and housing, our programs are creating lasting change. Read on for our latest updates and ways to contribute.
1. Ramzan Package for Widows and Poor
Supporting Families
This Ramzan, we’ve distributed Rs. 5,000 cash to 2,087 families across Skardu, Khuzdar, Dera Bugti, Sindh, and Thar Desert areas, primarily to widows. We aim to surpass last year’s 2,300 families by Ramzan’s end. We found many families still living in tents and straw huts, highlighting the need for more support.
- Special Thanks: Lady Fatima Trust aided 500 families, and RRAI-USA supported 400. Jazak Allah Khair.
- Impact: Provided essential financial relief during Ramzan.

2. Trees Plantation
Greening Pakistan
In March 2025, we planted 1,300 fruit trees in KPK’s northern hilly areas. The next plantation season in July 2025 will target Balochistan, Sindh (including Thar Desert), and Punjab, following last year’s 17,200 trees planted in July/August 2024.
- Impact: Enhanced environmental sustainability in arid and hilly regions.

3. Water Supply Schemes
Quenching Thirst
Over 24 years, we’ve completed 3,546 water schemes across Sindh, Balochistan, KPK, and Punjab, including hand pumps and solar-powered systems. Costs vary by terrain, soil type, and scheme complexity.
- Impact: Provided clean water to thousands of households.
- Your Role: Sponsor a scheme to bring water to remote areas.
4. Education in Thar and Balochistan
Empowering Young Minds
Pravalli operates 27 schools offering free education: 16 in Thar Desert, 10 in Balochistan, and 1 in Rawalpindi. Each school costs Rs. 14,000/month (Rs. 168,000/year) for teacher salaries, with additional expenses covered by the Trust.
- Impact: Educating hundreds of children in underserved areas.
- Support Needed: Sponsor a school for Rs. 168,000 annually.
5. Adopt a Widow & Her Children
Direct Lifeline
Our program supports 132 widows with direct bank transfers (minimum Rs. 10,000) from donors. We provide family details for direct communication, ensuring transparency.
- Impact: Sustained support for widows and their children.

6. Monthly Help for the Vulnerable
Consistent Support
We aid 54 widows and destitute individuals with Rs. 5,000 monthly via EasyPaisa. Donors can directly sponsor a widow, with account details provided by Pravalli.
- Impact: Ongoing relief for 54 vulnerable individuals.

7. Houses for Homeless Poor Families
Providing Shelter
Launched three years ago, we’ve built 665 one-room houses for families, primarily widows (95%), surpassing our initial goal of 100. Forgotten Women UK donated 198 houses.

- Support Needed: Fund more homes, especially for those in tents and straw huts.
8. Agriculture with Solar Pumps in Thar
Sustainable Farming
This year, we completed 45 solar pump schemes in Thar Desert, totaling 386 schemes. Lady Fatima (a.s.) Trust UK (262 schemes) and Sumar Lakhani Foundation/RRAI (26 schemes) have been key partners.
- Impact: Enabled farming for 386 families in arid regions.

9. Medical Camps
Healing Lives
We hold three monthly medical camps—one in Sindh and two in KPK—serving poor areas. 58 camps have provided free medicines and consultations to patients.
- Impact: Delivered healthcare to hundreds in remote areas.

10. Training Programs
Building Skills
Our vocational programs empower communities:
- 12 Sewing Centers: Training women in stitching.
- 3 Computer Centers: 104 trained in Hyderabad (8 ongoing), 26 in Lora, Abbottabad, and 12 in Havelian learning computer courses.
- Vocational Training: 97 in AC/fridge repairs, 53 electricians, 11 motorcycle mechanics, 39 in computers, 62 plumbers, and 40 auto electricians.
- Impact: Equipped 316+ individuals with employable skills.
- Support Needed: Fund training for more youth.
11. Masjid Construction
Spiritual Hubs
We’ve completed 26 masjids, with one under construction, providing communities with places of worship and unity.
- Impact: Strengthened community bonds through 26 masjids.
- Your Role: Sponsor ongoing construction projects.
12. Additional Initiatives
Transforming Lives
Our diverse projects address critical needs:
- Karobar: Supported 148 people to start businesses.
- Solar Illumination: Lit 1,925 huts in Thar Desert.
- Wheelchairs: Provided 809 wheelchairs to the disabled.
- Sewing Machines: Distributed 929 machines to women for income generation.
- Orphan/Poor Girls’ Marriages: Helped 949 weddings financially.
- Goats for Poor Families: Distributed 3,397 goats for sustainable livelihoods.
- Toilets: Built 209 toilets for poor families.
- Impact: Touched thousands of lives with practical support.
